The congregations of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) are divided into 33 Regions.  First Christian Church, Duncanville, is part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the Southwest.  This Region is made up of congregations and clergy in Texas, New Mexico and the panhandle of Oklahoma

FCC, Duncanville is affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a denomination born on the frontier from Scottish Presbyterian roots.   Alexander Campbell and Barton Stone were two of the founders and relationship is still maintained with other denominations in the Stone-Campbell movement.

Southwest Good Samaritan Ministries is a refugee mission in Los Fresnos, Texas.   This ministry happens through its founder, Rev. Feliberto Pereira, who does remarkable things in sharing the love of Christ with those who come to the United States seeking refugee status.   FCC, Duncanville, gathers items (clothing, games, rice and beans, household goods, books, etc.) for SWGSM each fall in a donation drive that is called "Mike's Kids".
